6/14 的大清早，當許多人還在熟睡時，心燈的大朋友們早就滿懷期待地起床了！這一天，是他們期待已久、一年一度的「桃園議長盃馬拉松」盛事。
這場馬拉松，不只是一場體育賽事，更是大朋友們展現平時揮汗訓練成果、揮灑獨立自主能力的超級舞台！看著他們在賽道上堅定的步伐與自信的笑容，真的讓我們無比驕傲。🥰
在心燈教養院，我們始終依循國際身心障礙者權利公約（CRPD）的理念，尊重並支持每位院生的自主權。我們深信，每個人都有權利「自我選擇」自己的興趣與未來發展。不論是日常照顧，還是挑戰馬拉松，心燈都會是他們最堅實的後盾，陪伴他們活出屬於自己的精彩人生！

While most people were still in bed early morning, our big friends at Shin Deng were already awake, beaming with excitement! Today was the day they’ve been waiting for—the Taoyuan Yi-Zhang-Bei Marathon!
This marathon is way more than just a sports event. It’s a grand stage for our big friends to show off the sweat and hard work from their daily training, and to let their independent spirit truly shine! Seeing their determined steps and confident smiles on the track makes us so incredibly proud.
Here at Shin Deng, we always embrace the heart of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) by respecting and supporting the autonomy of every resident. We truly believe that everyone has the right to make their own choices regarding their interests and future. Whether it's daily care or tackling a marathon, Shin Deng will always have their backs, walking right beside them as they live out their own amazing lives!
